Advancing MS Research Together: ABC Cluster Hosts MS Canada and A&W

On August 21, our ABC Cluster welcomed representatives from MS Canada and A&W Canada as part of the national Burgers to Beat MS campaign. This annual initiative raises awareness and funds in support of Canadians living with multiple sclerosis (MS), with $2 from every A&W Teen Burger sold that day donated to MS Canada. Since 2008, the campaign has raised more than $21.7 million to advance critical MS research and support programs.

During the visit, guests met with Drs. Marc Horwitz, Lisa Osborne, Maria Tokuyama, and Phillip Domeier, and trainees over “Burgers with Dr. Horwitz.” Faculty and students shared highlights of their research before guiding visitors through a tour of the Horwitz Lab.

We are grateful to MS Canada and A&W Canada for their ongoing commitment to supporting MS research and for taking the time to learn more about our ongoing research.
